Dr. Mallory Stites received her PhD in Psychology from University of Illinois in 2014, where she studied language comprehension processes using techniques such as eye-tracking and human electrophysiology. Mallory joined Sandia as a senior member of the technical staff in the Applied Cognitive Science organization in 2016. She has conducted cognitive science experiments and technology assessments across a number of technical fields and programs (e.g., nuclear nonproliferation, cybersecurity, machine learning, data visualization, human decision making, and homeland security). Mallory also serves as Sandia’s Campus Partnership Manager for University of Illinois, through which she helps enable research partnerships between Sandia and Illinois researchers.
